I first got the travel bug in High School, when I went to Greece with my friends senior year. And then in college, I lived in The Netherlands for 4 months. This began my love affair with Europe. My only regret is that I missed the digital camera craze by a year. All I had was my 35mm, so I didn’t have that many pictures. Basically one roll per country. That’s only 24 photos!! Now we come back with thousands!

Traveling and seeing new things is so important to me. I don’t know if it’s because I get a kick out of crossing things off my bucket list, or the thrill of getting off a plane without knowing the native language. But I am so thankful that I married a man who shares my hunger for travel.

Places I’ve Been in MAP format!
Contiki
We almost always travel Internationally with Contiki. We love our organized the tours are. We don’t have to think much about getting around, finding a hotel, getting from the airport or getting tickets into important museums and attractions. We find that we get along better and have more fun on a group tour. It’s also a great way to meet people. We’ve met great friends that we still keep in touch with. They’re also incredibly reasonably priced for what you get. Yea, the hotels aren’t the greatest, but I’m not there to stay inside a hotel.

If anyone is interested in hearing more about our experiences or if you want to book a trip, email me at kelocity at gmail dot com.

I remember when your man came to surprise you – I completely melted at the way he looked at you, and I think it was at that point that I said I would settle for nothing less!
Awe, I know. That’s when I knew I was going to marry him.
Canada: Vancouver – check!
I’m so jealous. You have done so much! I want to do South/Central America! We should plan that one together someday!
You’ve been to so many amazing places! I can’t wait for Egypt 2010!
