It’s crazy how fast Halloween came and went. But it was fun while it lasted!
I try to have all my costumes be “box” themes:
2006 (A lego):
2007 (Youtube):
And this year…I was a Robot!!
It’s always fun to dress up.
We had a mini halloween party at our place. It was great, we had awesome eats (A funfetti cake shaped like a pumpkin, Pumpkin flavored whoopie pies, Candy Corn and Pumpkin Ale!… lots of orangy colored things. YUM!
Everyone dressed up! I was so excited! Irving was a Lifeguard, just thought it was so cute and hilarious.
Ashley was a Stepford Wife and JR was the Sherrif! Erica was a marathon runner (WHOO HOO), Beth was a bumble bee and Chely was a German Beer girl! I love the spirit of the holiday this year!
We played Apples to Apples for a while and then ventured out into the neighborhood for some Halloween Haunts. Lots of awesome things to see this year. But we started out a little late. Buy 8:30, most houses had run out of candy and people were shutting down their displays, but for the most part, it did not disappoint. It was pretty rocking!
The first stop was one of the best houses in the neighborhood… every year there’s a theme of skeletons, and this year the theme was “Rock and Roll”.
Jimmy Hendrix (With Ash and JR)
So cute!
Michael Jackson (Thrillllller)
Britney Spears (and you can’t see it in this picture, but there’s a baby skeleton on her lap!! What?!)
Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana. hahaha
The one and only….
Bye, bye Miss American Pie…..
The Marathoner, the Robot… and Elvis.
The lifeguard (with our classy SOLO cups of Pumpkin Beer). haha
The men.
Isn’t this scary? It was a real TV set with a doll watching it. haha
Where the Wild Things are… there was a person in there!
A video of someone’s front yard!
The Girls!
We were late to the trick or treating. haha
I got sick of carrying the huge Robot Box through the crowds, so I ditched on the side of the road half way through the night. Haha. Doesn’t it look lonely? When I came back for it, it was gone. I hope some kid enjoyed being a robot. lol (dont worry, i was planning on trashing it after the night anyways).
This was at a construction site (there’s a dragon on the pile of rocks!)
Scary!
ahhh!!! Isn’t this creepy?!?!
What a fun night with friends! We totaled up the walk we did, and it came out to be about 5 miles! I think we totally burned off at least one handful of these:
This is the #1 reason why I love Halloween… MMMMmmm. I’m pretty sure I’ll single handedly polish these babies off in the next week. 🙂
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
