A couple of weeks before Christmas, Irving and I were brainstorming ideas for gifts for our families. We came up with an idea to make a calendar with Adele on each month. Then the idea of doing a photoshoot was born. But to take it one step further, we invited some of our mama friends and their babies to join in on the fun. I didn’t think anyone would be interested, but one by one, people started responding. I didn’t realize it at the time, but we had invited 54 babies! In all, 11 came with their parents so that meant 33 people were over my house — everyone determined to get as many fun pictures as possible. It was crazy, but SO much fun.

We set up backgrounds all over my house so we could do one for each month.

Everyone brought props so we could decorate each month.

And then the fun began! It was so hard to keep this a secret from everyone!

It was a huge hit at Christmas and we got some awesome photos out of it. Adele was a champ and was in a great mood for most of the day. Even with costume changes, loud noise and lots of activity, she still smiled for the camera every time! Love that girl.
