Last night, Erika and Timmy invited us and Ashley and JR over for dinner!

They were making homemade pizzas! And I was in charge of bringing pepperoni!

I headed to a local Italian Deli and picked some up!

And while I was at it, I bought a fresh roll for a snack! Mmmm!

I’m the type of person who has to eat at 5:15pm every night when I get home, or I just feel like I’m going to starve. haha

Trust me, Dinner was amazing.

We played a few rounds of Trivia on the Playstation. SO MUCH FUN!!!!!

Date Night in Beverly Hills

This week, we headed over the canyon into Beverly Hills for dinner. It was beautiful as usual.

Love these huge houses:

But since we live in the valley, we came to Beverly Hills prepared…. with a Groupon!

That’s how we roll!

We ate at this AMAZING restaurant called “Jack n’ Jills”. We were majorly impressed.

We started out with some fresh blueberry muffins! They were so cakey!

Irving got the chicken and it came with sweet potato fries and mac n’ cheese!

I got the Grecian Savory Crepe. It was amazing. It was feta, veggies, tomatoes… in a crepe. MMM.

It came with a cute side salad:

And of course I stole a bite of that mac n’ cheese. YUM!

Feasting, Fun & Friends on the Fourth!

On the fourth of July, Erika and Timmy came over for a fun afternoon of games!

We started out with a game of “Wineopoly”. I think my sister gave us this a few years back. It was actually a really fun game!

It’s just like Monopoly, but with a twist.

Erika and I pretty much tied, and Timmy lost—big time. HAHA

Look at all his mortgaged properties!

After the game, we grilled up quite the feast!

We ate on my roof while waiting for the fireworks!

Look what flew over at dusk!

We were able to see fireworks displays in every direction we looked!

But the best fireworks were the ones the neighbors were shooting off right next door! They were so close and big!

But soon the police caught on and came by to arrest them… these blue and red lights are the police sirens. lol

Backyard BBQ~ June 20, 2010

Some of our friends invited us over for a backyard BBQ this weekend. They have the cutest house with a big yard, it was really fun! They grilled burgers up, and I made my signature Pasta Salad!

Step 1: Make a fun summery pasta…

Step 2: Dice up celery, carrots and black olives:
(Hint: I boil the carrots half way through so they’re not so crunchy)…

Step 3: Combine everything…

Step 4: Add 3/4 bottle of Italian Dressing…

And Viola!

Sadly, no pictures of our lovely hosts or of dinner itself….

But after dinner, we had a fire and roasted S’Mores!
