Beach Pizza July 22, 2013

If you grew up in Northeastern Massachusetts like I did, you probably know exactly what “Beach Pizza” means. It’s pizza unlike anything you’ve ever had before. (I know Gaga Diaries knows what I’m talking about!) It was the thing to do in high school when we were bored. “Let’s just get in the car and go get some Beach Pizza!” It’s square. It has provolone cheese on it. And it’s awesome.

There’s two competing places that make it: Tripoli’s and Cristy’s. We went with Tripoli’s this time.

I think Adele liked it! (I would have been disappointed if she didn’t!)

Then we took a stroll on the beach for a little bit and enjoyed the beautiful New England ocean breeze. Aunty Laurie tried on the Ergo!

Can’t wait to do a real beach day next summer! The only thing better than Beach Pizza is eating it while sitting on a towel on the beach!

Blogger Meetup: Pizza Party! March 21, 2011

Saturday night, Kaitlin hosted an LA Blogger meetup at her place and it was pretty awesome.

The group included Kaitlin, Amanda and Andy, Katherine, and Melissa .

And in true Blogger Fashion, the food was amazing.

We had a make your own pizza concept, with no topping spared!

Katherine is a pro and taught us all how to properly stretch out the dough (the key is to keep adding flour)!

And spreading olive oil on the dough before the sauce and toppings makes it crunchy! YUM!

We made four mini pizzas to share. They were all gorgeous. I love when food looks like art.

I love cheese. Lots of cheese… and garlic. MMm!

I put the Broccoli on this bad boy. I just bring so much talent to the foodie world.

Served with a really good salad (and Newman’s Own Dressing of course!)

Blogger friends –> Real friends! You won’t meet a nicer bunch of people.

Melissa made dessert. Peanut Butter Chocolate chip cookies, and a peanut butter coffee cake!

I’m not a big Harry Potter fanatic, but if you hang out with these guys long enough, you’ll become one through osmosis. lol

We also watched the Rebecca Black music video Friday a few times. You should watch it. It’s addicting.

Such a fun night, great food and new friends.

Last night, Erika and Timmy invited us and Ashley and JR over for dinner!

They were making homemade pizzas! And I was in charge of bringing pepperoni!

I headed to a local Italian Deli and picked some up!

And while I was at it, I bought a fresh roll for a snack! Mmmm!

I’m the type of person who has to eat at 5:15pm every night when I get home, or I just feel like I’m going to starve. haha

Trust me, Dinner was amazing.

Wedding Recap: BBQ & Jetski Party! July 11, 2009

We really wanted to throw a fun party for our bridal party and family before the main event. And we definitely wanted to take full advantage of the lake while we were there.

A BBQ party was the perfect idea, we also rented two jetskis for the afternoon to play around with!

In order to drive them, we had to pass the New Hampshire boating test! This was so stressful! I studied for days for it! Even before we left California!!! But luckily we passed!

After the BBQ, we invited our friends to camp with us in a few cabins that we rented!!! This was definitely one of the best nights of my whole life. Just to be able to hang out with everyone meant so much to us.
