I can’t believe that a week from right now I’ll have my medal around my neck proclaiming myself a “Boston Marathon Finisher”. It’s so surreal.
I have a love/hate relationship with Weather.com…. but today, I love them.

If anyone will be on the Boston Sidelines, let me know where you’ll be so I can look for you! And scream loud in case I’m in the zone!
This is what I’ll be wearing during the race, so be sure to keep a lookout!

There will only be 550 other people wearing this jersey. lol
And be sure to cheer for my friend Peter too!

If you can’t be there in person, you can track us via email or text! It will give you updates on where we are on the course in real time!

My Bib # is 22501 and Peter’s is 22923.
Our DFMC coaches told us that by now, “all the hay is in the barn”. Whatever training you have now is all you’re gonna get. There’s not much more we can do at this point except rest up, get excited, and run the best race of our lives next week.
This morning, I met my Los Angeles Racers at the Beach for a 6 mile fun run. It was glorious! We all had such a great time. The sky was cloudy and breezy, perfect for running (in my opinion!)
I ❤ My running group. These guys rock!
Peter and Karen

Valerie, Me, Cory and Sharon

Rhoda! How did you escape the pictures? You rock too!
We ran a great 6 miles. I didn’t wear my watch today, but it took us 1 hour, 11 minutes. We chatted the whole way, it was so nice!
After we were done, the group planned a fun little potluck breakfast!!! Mmmm!

There were breads, cookies, fruit, chips and drinks! I love these guys! They even had coffee!!
It was the perfect way to spend a Sunday Morning at the beach!

I especially loved that after our run, we spent a good half hour discussing our favorite children’s books. Seriously, who didn’t love “Matilda”, “Bridge to Teribithia” and “The Baby Sitter’s Club”? Ah, so much fun!
This weekend, we went out with some friends to Pinz! It’s a bowling alley that they often use to shoot tv shows and movies in. Saturday night was “Glow Bowling” night.
I love bowling, but I didn’t do so well this time. I’m so used to the candlepin bowling that we have on the East Coast. This whole “ten pound bowling ball” thing just doesn’t cut it in my book. Give me a little guy I can hold in my hand, and we’ll be good to go.
Candlepin Bowling looks like this:

And real bowling looks like this:

Basically the pins are shaped different and the ball weighs 3x as much!
It was still fun though. We had a great time!

I loved playing around with the long exposure!

Since everyone loved our tupperware organization style so much, I decided to share my husband’s latest trick.
Behold: The Broom Organizer!

We don’t have much room next to our washer/dryer, so we have to make the most of the space.

He even put hooks for the duster and dustpan!!! Nice job, babe.
I would just like to add that when I was taking pictures of this, Irving was like “What are you doing?” I looked at him like he had two heads and said, “I’m putting it on the blog!” He told me that it was going to make for a boring post. HAHA maybe so, but I was impressed! (It’s about the little things, remember?)
In computer news: The power supply I bought for my computer didn’t have all the right connections, so I had to get a new one.
Doesn’t this one look mean? This thing means business!! I can’t wait to start her up!

Not such a boring post after all, huh? HAHA
