Aunty Laurie flew in from Chicago to meet her niece!! I know she was dying to meet her after seeing pictures of everyone else holding her this week! 
Hooray for having two Aunties at once!

I went into the house to ask one of the boys to take some pictures of me with my sisters…. this was the response I got. HAHA

On August 30th, Grammie, Irving, Adele and I went into Boston to meet up with Baby Gaga.
We walked all over Cambridge and along the Charles River. I forgot how beautiful the city is in the Summer. 
We ended up exploring the MIT campus for a while. All those years I lived in the city and I had never been there! 
Adele was soaking in all the academic vibes humming around MIT. I love when all the college kids bring the city to life every August. We hung out on the steps and enjoyed it. 
Baby Gaga and Irving did a fair amount of playing too! Adele will be able to keep up with them soon! 
Guess what I did when we were there? Breastfed for the first time without a nursing pillow!!! HOORAY!! 
I was so proud! Thanks for the moral support, Sarah! 
Wish we could have spent longer in the city, it was so much fun!
They say it takes a village to raise a child. If that’s the case, consider Adele raised. 
All together, Adele has nine second cousins and two aunts on my side of the family. That means there’s a lot of competition for who gets to hold her. No shortage of baby-holding arms this week, that’s for sure. 
We tried to take her for a walk, but Adele much prefers to sit up high in someone’s arms. She likes to see out!
Aunty Mikaela gave her this kitty and she is still loving it. I’m not sure why Adele thinks it’s just so funny. 
One night we were hanging out at Mikaela’s house and we decided to give Adele a bath. This is what it looks like to have EIGHT people give a 3-month old a bath. (Grammie and me not pictured!) 
I think Adele is loving all this attention. She’s been sleeping 11.5 hours straight a night EVERY night since we’ve been here. Good baby!
Adele is fortunate enough to have four generations on both sides of her family. Great grandparents are so special. 
My grandmother was in the hospital last week, and when she got out, she couldn’t wait to meet Adele. 
It must be so strange to see your daughter… and then your grand-daughter have a daughter of her own!
We were looking for something to do a few days ago and decided to hit up the beach! The kids are back in school so it was surprisingly empty considering it was close to 80* out! 
(Don’t worry, we lathered ourselves with sunscreen and kept Adele covered up as much as possible! 
This hat was one of my first purchases when I found out I was pregnant!!! Can’t believe there is a baby in it now! 
We put Adele in the carrier and headed off through the sand to the waves! 
She LOVED the waves! Not sure if it was the sound or the breeze, but she was pretty psyched to be there. 
Who was our photographer for the day? My mom! 
So fun!
