Family Ties August 16, 2012
We spent our last day in the bay area surrounded by family who couldn’t get enough of Miss Adele. 
Jake and Janie met up with us too! 
We continued the game of ‘Pass the Baby’ all afternoon! 
I think we tuckered the baby out! 
Sleep, little one! 
What an amazing weekend. We all had such a nice time. (And yes, I will be framing this photo!) 
The drive back to LA was perfect. Adele slept for 3 hours… woke up to eat…. and slept for another 3 hours til we got home!…. and then continued to sleep 8 hours straight overnight. LOVE that girl!
Birthday August 15, 2012
Today was my birthday! I had an awesome day with Irving and Adele. We spent the morning in the park enjoying the sunshine and fresh air with four other mama friends (pictures of that will be posted soon!) I didn’t want to do anything big this year since Adele is the best gift I could ever have anyways.
I can’t imagine ringing in the last year of my twenties without this little girl. In honor of my birthday, she requested to wear a party dress and a hair bow. Girl knows how to party!

After giving birth to Adele two months ago, birthdays have taken on a whole new meaning. So with that in mind, I dedicate my birthday this year to my mom. Thanks mom, for giving birth to me! Thanks for carrying me safely inside for 9 months and bringing me into this world with so much joy and love. Thanks for feeding, holding, burping, changing, rocking, bathing, walking and loving me. Thanks for comforting me when I was little (Fun Fact: I used to sneak into my parents room at night and curl up at the end of their bed.) And Thanks for celebrating with me when I accomplished things. Thanks for being my mom. Happy BIRTH day to you!

Life’s Little Pleasures
There is nothing like burying your toes into the lushest, thickest, softest grass you’ve ever seen. It really is the littlest things in life that make me smile. I took a moment then to appreciate all the beautiful things in my life at the moment. 
Exhibit A: Baby sleeping under the shade of a tree. Perfection. 
And next to said sleeping baby… a doting great-grandmother gazing lovingly on. 
And as if that isn’t enough…. How about adding in the world’s cutest bonnet? (YAY! She likes it!) 
Yes, it is the littlest things that make me smile nowadays. I just feel SO lucky!
Four Generations August 14, 2012
On Friday, Irving, Adele, EJ, Sarah and I piled into our minivan and headed six hours north to San Francisco for the weekend. It was a surprisingly easy trip! (Yes, for those of you who are counting, that is Adele’s forth weekend getaway in 9 weeks!) But it was worth the trip to have Irving’s whole family together at his mom’s house. 
It was extra special because it was the first time Adele got to meet her Great Grandmother, Nini! 
There are four generations here!! (So of course I demanded a photoshoot!!) 
The morning was spent enjoying the baby and catching up with everyone. 
There’s nothing in the world like family!
