Christmas On Our Turf January 23, 2014

We had a wonderful Christmas on the East Coast, but we were also excited for Santa to visit our California home a couple of weeks later as well! We had a great ‘Christmas’ morning, complete with coffee in hand, pajamas and presents!

Adele’s stocking had bracelets, play dough, a crazy straw, and a princess cell phone and keychain. She loved it!

We had fun taking turns opening presents and enjoying each other’s company. I didn’t care if it took us all day to open those presents, we had so much fun!

Adele even got an “Elf on the Shelf” for next year! So excited to play that game next year!

Christmas Day! January 5, 2014

I just can’t believe this is Adele’s 2nd Christmas already! I’ll save you the comparison photos, but here’s a look back at last year! She was so little!! This year, she was walking, talking and ripping wrapping paper like a champ!

She even had her own little Christmas tree! Grammie set aside some ‘toddler-friendly’ ornaments that she got to put on herself!

It’s Christmas EEEEEVEEE! January 4, 2014

Christmas is a two-day event in my family. Christmas Eve is the big extended family celebration with a Photobooth, Lebanese Food, Christmas Carols, Mike’s Pastry and presents. It’s fun to have a new generation experience it all as well! She was pretty spoiled this year!

The Christmas Photobooth January 3, 2014

I went to a Christmas party this year that had a cool Photobooth set up in the corner. It was the hit of the party.

We’re having a blast relaxing at Grammie and Grandpa’s house this week. Adele is enjoying all of the attention from everyone, and I’m relishing the fact that I haven’t had to change a diaper or wash a sippy cup since I’ve been here! Score! I’ve been going to bed early, reading magazines, watching movies and seeing friends. The perfect Christmas vacation indeed.

Adele’s been busy playing Play-Dough, creating MarbleWorks masterpieces and reading lots and lots of books. She’s in heaven.

I’m so glad both Irving’s mom and my mom saved some of the toys we played with when we were little. I have a post coming about that soon. But Adele is having so much fun playing with primary colored, non-musical toys. (With a little Cabbage Patch doll and Matchbox car action mixed in there as well for good measure!)
