Adele is not allowed to watch tv… except when Keeping up with the Kardashians is on. She agrees with her mama that Scott is a giant tool.

When we were on the plane flying back to Cali, she was laughing up a storm catching glimpses of the show. Uh oh, we’re in trouble.

I used to watch ‘Teen Mom’ and ‘16 and Pregnant’ all the time. Now, I don’t have cable, so sadly that train wreck of a show no longer graces my television, but my sisters keep me up to date on what’s going on.

Anyways… My sister posted this picture of her boyfriend, Chris last week and I almost died laughing. SO FUNNY!

Just had to share!

Homesick for College? August 27, 2010

When I was applying for colleges, I only really considered one school: Emerson College in Boston. I had a few back up plans in mind, but Emerson was the only school I had ever wanted to go. Someone told me about it when I was in 7th grade and I had my eye on the prize for all six years after that.

I even wrote a letter to myself in 8th grade talking about how bad I wanted to go there.

I wrote in my letter that I wanted to be the next Spielberg!

I also wrote about my love for “cute actors” like Devon Sawa, but that’s another story….

Oh man, Teen Bop magazines were the best! Remember the pull out posters?!

I’m pretty sure I had this exact issue…

Annnnyways…. So yea, I pretty much dove head first into television when I was in middle school… even making the cover of the local TV station’s newsletter! My friend Linsay and I were the youngest members to ever work at the station. 🙂

Can we just talk for a second about a.) that ginormous VHS camera! and b.) DIY bangs…. ugh!

I even met my future BFF Ashley while working at the station!

Ashley, Luca and I met Tom Bergeron at the station years ago too!

So yea… long story short… I always loved the TV industry and I knew that Emerson was the only school where I could delve into it head first!

Emerson was the type of school where you could make a 10 minute video in lieu of a 10 page paper. It was pretty awesome. I even had my own radio show for a semester. What a great time.

Today, I came across this website: and it made me totally miss college like never before. Have you ever tried to move into a high rise building from the side of Boylston street with 300 other people at the same time? It was quite the scene and I really wish I had pictures from that day. I’m so totally jealous of all the students who are moving in this week and getting to know Emerson for the first time. A lot has changed on campus since I graduated, but the core of it is still there.

I wish I could go back and relive college all over again. I feel like I didn’t take advantage enough, experience it enough, take it in enough. It goes by so fast! I graduated in 3.5 years because I just couldn’t wait to move out to Los Angeles and live the Hollywood Dream! But looking back, perhaps I should have stayed just one more semester to enjoy Boston and College living.

I’m really homesick for my Emerson days… Kids… enjoy every SECOND of it!

The Biggest Loser Marathon May 19, 2010

So last night on The Biggest Loser, the final four ran the Biggest Loser Marathon. I always look forward to this episode because I just LOVE running! I get giddy when the contestants run.

It’s so incredible to hear the contestants say “Running a marathon was always one of my dreams”…”It’s the test of ultimate endurance”. I personally know what it feels like to want something so bad, train for hours and hours, and then cross that finish line. It really is a dream. It’s amazing to see other people accomplish the same thing.

But they only technically trained for 60 days…. how is that possible? How many miles do you think they run daily while on campus?

Daris finished in 4:02!! That’s pretty incredible. He beat Tara’s BL Marathon record by 50 minutes! It’s just crazy that someone who was SO unhealthy 6 months ago can beat MY marathon time by um… 2 hours! I don’t know how he did it. How do they run for so many miles without stopping? Do you think they stop? What about for water/food?

Then Koli came in at 6:08. Michael and Ashley finished in 6:26. I beat all three of them. Boo yea! Just kidding, they all did amazing. It was impressive.

And can we just stop for a minute and recognize how amazing Ally Vincent looks? She’s a rockstar.

But then the show hit a sore spot for me…. when Daris got on the scale and found out he gained 2 pounds at home. He said it was partly from eating late at night…. but partly from training for a marathon. And Bob basically REAMED him for it! He was like “If you’re running, there is no way marathon training will make you gain weight”…. but I disagree! Marathon training is grueling and it leaves your body feeling hungry all.of.the.time! I sympathized with Daris because I can relate to it.  Bad Bob! Bad! It totally gives people watching the wrong idea.

For that reason, I went online today, and voted for Daris to be in the final 3! He’s a great guy! And he runs marathons—fast! Vote for him!
Koli is amazing too. It’s a tough choice!

Anyways, off my soapbox.

And now for my Public Service Announcement for the week! If anyone is around on Sunday, the Biggest Loser will be shooting the first episode down at the Beach in Los Angeles! They are looking for people to come work out with the contestants!
