How is it already June?! How am I already at 39 weeks?! I can’t believe I’ve been pregnant since September… and now the due date week is here! 10 months is a reallllly long time. I’m feeling the effects of 10 months of pregnancy this week for SURE. It’s been an amazing experience that I wouldn’t have traded for anything… but I’m 100% ready to meet the baby now. My doctor said there was no more progress made this week, so we just enjoyed a relaxing weekend together. But I’m realllllly hoping baby decides to make an appearance in the next couple of days. (Due date is technically June 9th!)
How I’m feeling: I’m starting to get pretty achy, crampy and sore. My belly feels like it weighs 100 pounds. I feel like I have to hold it up! I usually do fine throughout the day, but sleeping is the worst. I was introduced to the sore hips again this week too. But I find that rolling around on a tennis ball before bed usually does the trick and allows me to sleep better. I’m hanging in there though, we’re getting close to meeting the baby and that makes the deal a little sweeter.
- Heart. Burn.
- Achy Hips
- Braxton Hicks
- Sciatic Nerve
- Those baby kicks are INTENSE! I can see limbs and piggies sticking out! I like to tickle them to make them move around. Baby has definitely run out of room. My belly is no longer round, it has all kinds of peaks and valleys where the baby is moving around.
Highlights of the week:
- Getting some Sprinkles Ice Cream today (Peanut Butter Cup with Sprinkles!)–Which baby defintiely enjoyed, based on the kicks after I ate it!
- Relaxing at home with Irving with absolutely NO plans. It was awesome.
Goal for this week:
- Have a Baby!!! <—– that was the goal last week too! We’ll see!
